Brought everything to the fight

with blatant disregard for looking past the surface

Deciphered wrong from right

derived opinion through collective mass influence

   * I can’t see the light of day

     The truth is clouded by this haze

     Reality delivered on a wave

     A broken record that’s replayed

Displayed the badges from the war

Yet never thought to build a bridge from task to purpose

Approached the edge but did not fall, 

but subsequently left to deal with this delusion
